As part of ongoing maintenance, DCS014 / XLX014 has been updated to the latest version of XLXD (2.5.2) today and preparations for upgrade of the dashboard are underway.
DCS014 Upgraded to XLX Software
After many years of service running the original DCS software provided by the XReflector Team thanks to Torsten DG1HT and others, DCS014 has been upgraded to use the XLX Reflector software in the last week to provide support for digital modes other than D-STAR such as DMR.
After a week of testing the D-STAR functionality is working as expected and today DMR via MMDVM homebrew has been enabled for testing.
In the future support for cross mode QSO’s between D-STAR and DMR will be supported once the AMBE transcoding resources are put in place.
TKR-850 and MMDVM Integration Details
